ICT4Gov case study contributing to the “Study on Strengthening Inclusive Stakeholder Ownership through Capacity Development”

Check out the case study on the ICT-mediated participatory budgeting project launched in 2009 in the conflict-affected province of South Kivu in eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), with the support of the ICT4Gov team of the World Bank Institute (WBI).

As part of the Study on Strengthening Inclusive Stakeholder Ownership through Capacity Development undertaken by the WBI Capacity Development and Results team, the case study focuses on the following aspects of the ICT4Gov project in South Kivu, DRC:

  • Context
  • Constraints and capacity development challenges
  • Design and activities of the capacity development initiative
  • Change process and enhancement of the stakeholder ownership dimension
  • Development results
