Leading Technology Indicators in Costa Rica are available now in an Open Data Platform

The Ministry of Science and Technology in Costa Rica is making its leading indicators available in an easy-to-use platform that allows users to manipulate and visualize data at their pleasure. This initiative follows the Open Data format and it provides greater transparency in the governance process.

Under the new Open Data initiative, users in Costa Rica can visit the new site set up by the MICIT, http://indicadores.micit.go.cr.

Data is on:

• Investments in Tech and Science Activities
• Investments in Research and Development (R&D)
• Human Resources Allocated to R&D
• Business Innovation Activities
• R&D in Businesses
